Whether you worked out for months and are ready to show off that six-pack, or you’re just now thinking about how to shed your muffin top, you’re probably coming up with a plan to help you maintain your best body throughout the rest of the year.
It will no doubt include regular exercise and healthy eating. Check and check.
But what about between meals? What do you do when you have a craving for a snack, maybe even something sweet.
First and foremost, rely on the old Boy Scout adage: Be prepared.
There are a lot of great-tasting yet-healthy snacks that you can keep at your desk or in your purse or briefcase. Snacks that won’t derail your weight-management plan. Like an apple. Or nuts. Raw vegetables. Or a low-calorie protein bar.
There are also snacks to keep in your refrigerator at work or home, snacks to replace the ice cream and soda!
The key to healthy snacking is to me as mindful of it as you are about the rest of your healthy lifestyle.
