A new Norwegian study proves an active 50-year-old can be every bit as fit as a 20-year-old who leads a sedentary lifestyle.
But beyond those bragging rights, regular vigorous exercise–high intensity exercise–can also help stave off metabolic syndrome, the condition that leads to all the bad stuff: type 2 diabetes, stroke and cardio vascular disease.
So if you want to be able to kid sand in the face of someone young enough to be your kid–and back it up!–keep training! Hard!
