On Your Mark…Eat Breakfast!

If I had a dollar for every time someone told me,”Breakfast is the most important meal of the day”…well, you know.

You also know they’re right, and for myriad reasons. First, it’s first. It’s the start of your day, and it’s just as vital as the sprinter’s burst out of the blocks. It can make or break the race.

A good breakfast makes your day because it puts your body in position to be its best, which puts you in position to be your best.

A bad breakfast does exactly what you think. It’s does nothing to boost your day, and in fact could hurt by giving you a sluggish, fat-gut start.

Good luck with that.

No breakfast? Please. Worse than kissing your sister (of course that depends on whom your sister is.) It’s like leaving the house unprepared.

Breakfast is fuel. Not only does it allow you to be at your peak earlier in the day, but it gets you out the door strong and heading in the right direction.

There’s some truth in every cliche and this one is full of it.

Finally, if you’re trying to lose a few pounds and you’re not eating breakfast to “save calories,”…sit your butt down this morning and eat! A good breakfast boosts your metabolism, which burns calories.

So eat right…and win.
